At 9.00, on 30 December 2010, the section of the S3 express road from Myślibórz section to Gorzów Wielkopolski with the length of 26,7 kilometer was made available. This is the last section of the S3 road between Szczecin and Gorzów Wielkopolski let for traffic, earlier, in May and October this year, the sections from Szczecin Klucz junction to the Myślibórz junction had been opened. Letting the section for traffic means, that the drivers may already use the whole express road connecting the zachodniopomorskie and lubuskie voivodships, which is over 81 kilometers long – this is the longest part of the express road in Poland.

The express road S8 on the Salomea-Wolica section with the link with the national road no 7 (the section located within the limits of the Warsaw capital city) will be constructed as assumed. We will be able to drive it till UEFA EURO 2012. GDDKiA has signed the agreement with the investment contractor today, i.e. on 30 December 2010.

We hold a record in European Union funds invested in roads! This year, GDDKiA effectively obtained the means from the EU, on the level of over 6 bn PLN (the reimbursements from the Coherence Fund and from the refunds and petitions for payments with the refunds from  POIiŚ and PO RPW planned for this year ), which places us on the first place in Poland in obtaining the EU financial aid effectiveness . Until now, GDDKiA obtained the grants from the European Commission of almost 15 bn PLN in total.

On 30 December, 2010, Wrocław Branch of General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways launched the Motoray Bypass of Wrocław (AOW). Presently, the transit is conducted along the municipal street, the parameters of which are not adjusted to the traffic intensification. Therefore, AOW conducted along the northern-western outskirts, will improve the transport solutions to a significant extent, including the traffic safety factor.
